Welcome. The pages on this site reflect my admiration for two American companies, one still in existence and one but a memory. Harley Davidson has been on the motorcycle scene since 1903 and is the last surviving American motorcycle manufacturer. American Motors Corporation was formed in 1954 from the merger of Nash and Hudson, two names long established in the automotive industry, and continued until 1988 with the buyout by Chrysler.
